Grounding: It Does a Body Good!
Remember when you were a kid and you ran through the grass with no shoes on? Not only did it feel great, but it actually provided some health benefits to your younger self. "Grounding appears to improve sleep, normalize the day–night cortisol rhythm, reduce pain, reduce stress, shift the autonomic nervous system from sympathetic toward parasympathetic activation, increase heart rate variability, speed wound healing, and reduce blood viscosity", according to the Journal of Environmental Public Health.
How do you ground? Do what you did as a kid...just take off your shoes and go walk in the grass. Connect with the earth.
